One thing I forgot…
I got to go to a taping of the Colbert Report!!! I wonder how that one slipped through. Brian requested tickets a few months ago and I went into work early and left about 2 hours early to make the taping. It was a surreal experience. Stephen Colbert is an actual person! He joked with the audience before the taping began and other than being really funny seemed to genuinely enjoy what he is doing and that makes the people around him enjoy what they are doing also. We were in the back row, but if you see a repeat of the Toby Keith episode there is a quick crowd pan towards the end of the show and both Brian and myself jumped at the right moment to get on camera. I’m looking out for the episode and I’ll put a screen capture up here.
