The Partly Cloudy Patriot
So if you didn’t know quite yet, I went to a taping of the Colbert Report on Monday. Well here are the screen shots I promised. So this was I guess my network television debut, and I must say it was awesome. Below are the pictures, highlighted are myself and Brian. He was wearing a white t-shirt and I have on the blue blur looking thing.
Today was a pretty big success. I wrote some good copy on a Port Authority meeting and got a compliment on my coverage of the Giuliani event. And after work I hosted “Family Dinner Night.” Brooke’s idea of having as many fellows as we can get to go out to dinner together. I picked a Dim Sum place in Chinatown which was deep in the Chinatown and not so much Dim Sum. But overall it worked out alright and everybody had a fun time.
Tomorrow is Friday at last, not that I’m not enjoying work, it is just a lot of work. I’m not sure what is on the schedule for the weekend, but I hope to make it to Coney Island for the Mermaid Parade on Saturday.
