Electromagnetic Spectrum!

Oh how today rocked my tiny, tiny world. Work started off normal as usual then I was asked to help out reporter Bob Hennlley with a project he was producing for that evenings All Things Considered. Here is the situation, Bob worked late last night, so he was at home in New Jersey and didn’t have a working computer (I think). So I called Bob, then conferenced in ATC and play clips while Bob reads his script. After a run through we get some notes on what to edit in the piece. Then ATC hangs up, and Bob and I start talking about what needs to change. Then we start rewriting it, but I am the one typing while he dictates it to me from home. I got to pick some new clips and help make editorial decisions. Then we called ATC back and did the whole thing over again. I was taken off of it after 2 hours of work, but it was a blast and I think Bob loves me now, and I got to go home early after impressing some people with my tale of dragons and heroism. Then I headed uptown for a meeting with some people who may or may not be investigated by the government because they went with Michael Moore to Cuba for health care.

Not sure what is on the program for tonight or this weekend, but I really want to go to the Mermaid Parade tomorrow on Coney Island and see this young author on Sunday night.
