Oh What A Week

I just want to apologize now for the lack of posts over the last week or two. I’ve either been sleeping or trying to get somewhere to do something. The highlight of my week so far has been the humiliation by my new dentist on Monday. Now, I know I don’t have the best teeth, hence my decision to stick with radio over television, but this was crazy. I was in for a “deep clean” which is code for LAZER WATER PICK, after she numbed my mouth and told me the series of “you need to brush more” questions, this doozey came… “Do you do drugs?” my reply… mhuhhgghmhhhnommsss. She responded with, “no seriously, do you or have you done drugs?” I finally got a no out and she gave me that I don’t believe you but won’t argue with you look.

That does it. I’m brushing and flossing my teeth constantly now. Are they really that bad? I look like a drug addict? Once the torture… I mean cleaning was done she said that once my face regains feeling not to eat… anything. Next Monday I get 2 cavities filled, I wonder what gems I’ll get out of that conversation.

Other than that, not much going on. I’m attending a comic book convention on Saturday which should be filled strange costumes (expect pictures next week). Kelly Hansen is in town for National Diabetes day held at the U.N. It is good to see friends from home on some sort of regular basis. The Scurvies will be in town on the 26th, I would like to be able to go to that show in Brooklyn.

Last but not least I saw Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith on Frasier) on the corner of 46th and 6th ave tonight. I promptly wrote that down moments before running into Tom Brokaw in the elevator bank in my building. Not quite star struck, but still pretty cool.
