Why Can’t I Quit You?

I have had enough of McDonalds and Subway, ok, not as a whole, but two specific locations. The McDonalds at 145th and Broadway and the Subway below Rockefeller Center. I’ll go through these one at a time.
McDonalds – 145th and Broadway, I try to avoid going here. They never have milkshakes or ice cream and the service has always been awful. In the half dozen times I have visited the establishment since moving to the area I have never left there happy. My order is always the same and rather simple, a McNugget extra value meal with BBQ sauce, a hamburger with katchup only, and a coke. Pretty easy eh? Time and time again I have been told they do not have BBQ sauce packets and I must take mine home from the gross despenser from the corner. Also, they always mess up my burger… how hard can that be? Bun, patty, katchup, bun… there it is done. GAH
Subway – Rockefeller Center, this store always makes minor errors while making my sandwiches that always bothers me. Having worked at a subway I have high standards for my subs. The place is small and always dirty, and the meat is always on one side of the bread. Best piece of advice I ever got while working at Subway in North Pole was, “try to make every bite taste the same.” So every bite of the sandwich tasted like every other bite, but alas, this place can’t pull it off. Finally, today thier soda machine is only pumping out syurp on all drinks, meaning they have not hooked up any Co2 to any of their sodas for hours. GRRRRRRR

Eh, to make myself feel better, here is a picture Shayna drew of us during a class… It makes me smile a lot and not mind my awful sandwich too much.
