Among the best birthday gifts I have ever received are A) anything I received that had Ninja Turtles on it when I was under the age of 7 B) My Spider-Man cup that I use every day and now C) My custom Futurama Vans.
Shayna hand painted a pair of black vans and created an awesome mural of my favorite Futurama characters and scenes. Not only are all the main characters there, even a few minor ones and even the building itself. Even tubes with people going across the side of it. I was so excited when I opened the box that revealed a hand painted Earth Flag. So here is a slideshow of the shoes that were made to be worn around town, but I think I’m going to hold off on that for a while and enjoy them before getting them muddy or mugged off my feet. To be fair, my present to her was pretty awesome too, but it was many pieces. It included a USB Mixtape that I slaved for weeks on, a Holga camera with some film, a T-Shirt that said “my boyfriend is a ninja” and showed a ninja giving a girl flowers and several embarrassing photos of me from high school and sleeping on a couch at the fair. – Enjoy the pics of my new kicks.
