As I wandered the streets of Times Square after work, I made my way into Office Max. Now nothing cranks my gears like a good ole’ walk through Office Max or Depot or any office supply superstore. Just the smell of the inks, the crisp paper, or the allure of a new printer/scanner combo (wink wink) to make my evening worth while. Well low and behold what amazing item I found in the basement corner of the store as I made my way through.

Its a “Really Useful Box.” No seriously, that is exactly what it is, nothing more than a box that is made of plastic and happens to hold the secrets to being really useful. I wonder what items I would place inside such a box that can be used for a variety of reasons? Oh, did I mention it also comes in various sizes and colors, so you can decorate a whole apartment with really useful boxes if you wanted to.

Next up, as some of you know… all 4 of you, I am about to be moving (again). After a long throught out decision that was expidited due to a swift suckerpunch to the face, Brooke, Myself and newcomer Lance will be heading to Brooklyn. As one of the better parts of this move, we must clear out of our old apartment and attempt to get our security deposit back. In doing so we are trying to determine what is the landlord’s fault, and what is our own that needs to be fixed. Landlord: Bathroom ceiling caving in somewhat, the floors were never finished, soot from furnace covered everything in a fine dust, and a crack in the tile in the bathroom. Us: Um…? Well, we aren’t 100% sure on that yet, but what you find below is exactly how cheap my landlords here actually are. The two swipes of missing paint are those of where my pillows have been since we moved in 11 months ago. THE PAINT WORE OFF FROM PILLOWS! No excessive movement was done, and I dread to move my bed to find what is on under there.

I’m pretty sure the whole place will be painted when we leave, I just want to make sure they aren’t going to try to charge us for this.
