Go Nooks!
2010 January 19
I can’t express how much I love this year’s into movie for the Alaska Nanooks Hockey Team. I do look back fondly on the gross amount of time I spent in the Carlson Center watching the Nooks, but I can honestly say I’m a tad jealous that I’m not there to watch this opening intro.
I can’t tell which part is my favorite:
- Where the bear cuts the icebreaker (cutter… har har) in half?
- Pulls down the Top Gun shades and flys a jet?
- Blows up several rival schools?
- Blows up multiple volcanoes?
- BLOWS UP THE ENTIRE EARTH IN SOME SORT OF SUPERNOVA
- Jet enters a wormhole?
- Ejects from jet inside wormhole?
- Crashes into Carlson Center that is relocated from downtown to an asteroid?
- Fire shot into a net causing it to BURST INTO FLAMES?
Keep up the good work Nooks, I’m going to watch Chad Johnson play for the Rangers to get my local hockey fix.

- Giz Test Post – Why Aren’t You Watching “The IT Crowd” I pose that as a serious question. Why aren’t you watching “The IT Crowd” right now? Your blog needs a “like” button. And a “This is so badass” button.
Nick, I got this link in an email from a friend back home today. It’s why I am visiting your site right now – to make sure you haven’t already posted about it before I presume to send you the link. It’s so much better than the previous intros. It’s rather insane, actually. Bombs in Volcanoes? Is that some sort of Scientology reference? And just wantonly destroying all of the competing schools, and then the EARTH??? This year’s Nanooks must be ruthless.
