Upcycled Suitcase Liquor Cabinet

2010 March 3

This may seem like fimiliar territory, butI have created another liquor cabinet suitcase. This one has a way better story. I found it at the Brooklyn Flea in early January. After buying it for 25 bucks from a very nice man named Lionell, I took it home and started to plan it out. The major differences include, a hiding spot for a 6oz steel flask, and a cherry oak stain. The hinge on the side swings out a bit to reveal extra lables and a bottle opener.

I’ve created an etsy account and the listing can be found HERE. I’m trying to recoup the cost of parts and labor, not much more. I had a blast covering my room in sawdust to get this thing looking so nice. All I can hope is that someone actually wants to buy it. An entire photoset can be found HERE, and features various photos throughout construction.
