I am really enjoying the Hipstamatic application for my phone. Over the past day, I’ve taken some really neat shots and hope to find even more subjects through my random wandering around the city.

I took this as a test photo with my phone to see how the update to Hipstamatic looked, and I was mighty impressed. This is just a coffee mug that my former roommate Ian got for me in Rome, and the little guy looks rather stylish sitting on my desk at work.

NES Apple Remote

About a year ago I started this little project to wire my apple remote into an NES controller. At the time I had a really difficult time and it didn’t actually work out. This week I decided to dust it off and try again. My soldering skills have improved greatly as well as my understanding of electronics.

Here is the instructable I used to complete the project, and below is a video of it in use. You can control itunes with it. If I ever decide to turn my macbook into a low powered entertainment center for my kitchen someday, this might come in handy.

Good Ole’ Fashioned Nightmare

It is early Thanksgiving morning. I have to be to work in a few hours but cannot fall asleep so I’m surfing the net and watching Live Free or Die Hard. I just wanted to throw this up here while I remember to do so, it is a photograph I took and applied “Tilt Pan Photography” to and it now looks like this. This is an actual picture from Comic Con this year and now they look like little train set people. So I challenge anybody reading this to play around with the same method I used and I want to see what you came up with. Winner will get its own post or something. I’ll try to make it good. Enjoy the holiday, I know I will because of double time and free food.

Also, watch for my new annual Thanksgiving video. Last years had loud music, what will this years have? Who knows? Ok, here is a hint, Sukie will be in it as well.
