Subway Hero – FNR Edition

As someone who it is safe to say has a very intimate knowledge (short of seeing it happen) I was able to report on this story for Fox News Radio! I collected sound and advised an anchor before a newscast. The cherry on top was my first wrap being pushed out to stations. Some of you may remember my earlier stint as a reporter, but this time, I produced my own package, submitted a script and had it approved by the head honcho Mitch Davis. Below is the audio from Dave Anthony’s 8am newscast, and my wrap.

While I am very proud of this, it was a little embarrassing when Mitch said my piece was approved and I gave him a high-five without realizing it.

Lance McGraw – Subway Hero

Words cannot accurately describe how awesome I think this kid is. I won’t bore you with gushing remarks about how awesome I think my friend and roommate is, I’ll let his actions speak for themselves. Lance saved a girl named Rosie’s life last week at our local subway station, and I told the media about it (hey, I do work for Fox News, duh). I’ll update this as more places do stories.

Santacon 2009: Tabloid Prodigy

And so it begins! After a quick google search, I found I had made it onto Tabloid Prodigy. I want to say this is the first (and only) time in print I’ve ever been described as “doable.”

I still can’t get over how much of a positive response I got from the whole day. I love Santacon, everybody is great, from those only wearing a hat, to our Jewish brothers who come out and celebrate as well. It was awesome, and much like I said last year, I’ve got about 11 months to think of something to top this… and I don’t think it is going to be that easy.

Words can’t describe how large the smile is on my face when I see this picture. So the story goes; Shayna was bored, so I offered up something she could do… draw me a picture of her battling a bear while wearing a bikini. After many days of ignorning my request, I woke up this morning to find this.
