Hopefully this will work the way I hope it will. From now on, you can just head to www.moreindiethanyourcat.com and it will bring you here to this incarnation of the blog. All of my previous posts and comments from people have been transferred over to here which is nice, there are a few bugs, but it worked overall. So please update your rss feeds if you use them. Please enjoy the new and improved blog. I am also trying to decide if I want to try to expand my readership beyond the good 20 of you who show up on a regular basis. Only time will tell.

I am working on getting this thing to work at http://www.moreindiethanyourcat.com but as always, blogger needs to make it a pain in the ass. So for the moment, unfortunately this is going to look horrible, unless I can get it to cooperate. If not, then it will be slowly evolving back to what it was about 30 seconds ago.
Also, I just found this on flickr. This is what I look like while I’m interviewing people apparently.

Never Really Finished Anything, Except Cake

I just wanted to give everybody on what is going on in my life as of 1:48 am on Thursday, October 18, 2007. Work is going well. I think I am finally starting to get the hang of working all night and sleeping most of the day. If I start to sleep around 8 am and wake up at 2 or 3 pm, then I will be able to get a good 6 to 7 hours of sleep. The danger is staying up until noon… then I tend to sleep till 8 pm and have no time to do anything except play with Sukie.

I now know what it must feel like to have one third of a kid. I say that as I think it only takes one third the effort, time, and money to actually raise a kitten. She is more or less self-sufficient. She is litter box trained and knows where her food is. All that is left is trying to get her to not destroy most of what I own by kneading her claws into it. (including my flesh)

It is also necessary to make a statement that should have been done a long time ago. Mom, Dad and everybody I know. Everything is expensive and I thank anybody who has ever lent me a dollar. (especially in 7th grade, I had to upgrade to the pepperoni pizza somehow)

Isaac and a bunch of others are in town for CMJ this week which I will unfortunately not be able to attend. It makes me sad as the music marathon was an escape from school for 2 years and an opportunity to blow others money AND enjoy the hell out of it. But all is not lost, I have hung out with Isaac a few times since his arrival and I plan on attending a few free day parties that are geared at buttering up music directors with free booze.

Alpha Rats Nest

This week has been just a little off more or less. I’m not quite sure what is up. My time here in the IRTS program is coming to an end in a week and that makes me sad. It seems like only yesterday I was spilling a whole cup of soy sauce on myself at Plump Dumpling, or ranting and raving about going to Dumpling Man. (If you haven’t figured it out yet, I love dumplings.) Everything they bragged about at the beginning of the program has come true. As a group of strangers, we are now bound by a common experience. Some had better times than others, but overall I think everybody enjoyed the experience. Now the hard part begins.

I talked to the graduation office and have until the end of August to finish my two correspondence classes which is good. Packing up all my things and getting them to New York, that is bad. Seeing all my friends, thats good. All my friends are cursed… thats bad. I don’t know, everything seems to be picking up and moving faster than it has before. Job hunting is going alright, it seems like I always have 30 leads at any given time, but no actual promises. I’m really happy for the few fellows who have received jobs though, it gives me hope.

Now I’m off to TRY AND GET WNBC to talk to me for a story. I’ve been calling all day, with no avail.
